MVP Journey - André Baltazar

Building an MVP every week

📝 Daily Log – Basics

I think defining the basics of what I want to do is very important. So I will define them here, but first some story time.

It has been a long time since the first time I wanted to create a project that I can then sell to other people, and make a living. I've been dwelling on it for years with very little action, and sometimes none at all. There has been many factors that led to this. My indecisiveness is one of them, sometimes I can't pick one thing and work on that. There is also perfectionism which always leads me to dwell on things, sometimes I don't even start because I know I will not end in some way that is good. Trying to get better at this.

The idea behind this journey is to share the struggles and the achievements that happen along the way. I want to post every single day, as a way to improve my writing as well. It is going to be a long journey, as the previous posts indicate, there are a lot of things to work on. I will do my best to keep it going.

I've always seen the building process as a way to improve my skills and to learn some new thing, but the novelty wears off very quickly. The struggle is real.

As previously mentioned I want to make solid projects that can be polished and working. But concepts and other things are expected along the way. I will not be working on projects each and every day, because there are other things I do, that require focus and time as well. As I write this, I also realise that distracts me from the main objective, but sometimes it is just necessary things that are needed in life.

Most of all, I want this journey to be enjoyable. I will keep on working on this journey but as I heard recently it is not about the destination, nor the journey, I hope there are other things that come from this that make this journey worth embracing.
